Lorene Scafaria Directs HBO Pilot Starring Rachel Sennott with Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, and Miles Robbins

HBO’s upcoming comedy pilot has just added a star-studded cast, including Odessa A’zion, Jordan Firstman, Miles Robbins, and True Whitaker. The untitled project, helmed by Rachel Sennott, follows a codependent friend group as they reunite and navigate the changes in their lives due to time apart, ambition, and new relationships.

A’zion, known for her roles in Netflix’s Grand Army and Prime Video’s Sitting In Bars With Cake, will be joined by Firstman, who has appeared in FX’s Dave and the Disney+/Marvel series Ms. Marvel. Robbins, set to star in the comedy feature Y2K for A24, and Whitaker, currently seen in the MGM+ series Godfather of Harlem, round out the talented ensemble.

Directed by Lorene Scafaria, the pilot is written and executive produced by Sennott, alongside Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, and Lorene Scafaria. The plot and character details are still under wraps, leaving fans eager for more information.
