Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) put up a strong fight against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an Indian Premier League match in Hyderabad on Wednesday, thanks to a brilliant partnership between Ayush Badoni and Nicholas Pooran.

LSG found themselves in trouble early on, struggling at 66 for 4 in 11.2 overs. However, Badoni and Pooran turned the game around with an unbeaten 99-run partnership for the fifth wicket, scoring off just 52 balls. Badoni remained not out on 55 off 30 balls, while Pooran scored 48 off 26 balls.

Despite a slow pitch, LSG managed to post a competitive total of 165 for four, with the SRH bowlers initially putting up a strong performance. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the standout bowler for SRH, picking up two crucial wickets.

In response, SRH’s innings got off to a shaky start, with skipper KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya trying to steady the ship. However, LSG’s bowlers kept the pressure on, with Badoni and Pooran leading the charge.

Badoni’s aggressive batting and clever shot selection helped LSG accelerate the run rate, with the right-hander reaching his fifty in just 28 balls. Pooran also played a crucial role, hitting boundaries at crucial moments to keep the scoreboard ticking.

Overall, it was a thrilling match with both teams putting up a strong fight. LSG’s partnership between Badoni and Pooran proved to be the difference, guiding them to a competitive total and eventually a victory.
