The Minot High girls tennis team continued their winning streak on Tuesday with a dominating 7-2 victory over Bismarck Century at Hammond Park. The defending state champions improved to 7-0 overall and 2-0 in conference play with this impressive win.

The Majettes showcased their strength by winning five out of six singles matches and two out of three doubles matches. Players like Sidney Ressler, Kyllie Fettig, Sienna Ronning, Grace Olson, and Ava Thuner all contributed to the team’s success by securing wins in their respective singles matches.

Head coach Scott DeLorme expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance, highlighting the importance of improving their doubles play. The doubles teams of Ressler and Lila Olson, as well as Fettig and Reese Goodman, also clinched victories in their matches.

Despite facing tough competition, players like Ressler and Fettig displayed resilience and skill on the court. Ressler, who played at the No. 1 singles position, emphasized the challenges of facing top opponents but remained determined to give her best effort.

With this win, the Minot High girls tennis team is gearing up for their next match against Bismarck High on Thursday at Hammond Park. The team is confident in their abilities and looks forward to maintaining their winning streak as they continue to strive for success in the season.
