In the first game, Minot High shut out Century with a commanding 14-0 victory.

The Majettes got off to a strong start, scoring three runs in the first inning and adding seven more in the third. Senior Ellington Anderson and junior Halle Baker were key players in the offensive onslaught, driving in multiple runs to secure the win. Minot High’s defense was equally impressive, holding Century to just seven hits and two runs over the course of the game.

In the second game, Century managed to score first, but Minot High quickly responded and took control of the game. The Majettes scored nine runs in total, with contributions from multiple players including Gabbi Rohrer, Raegan Terril, and Journey Larson. Minot High’s pitching duo of Baker and Bartsch also delivered a solid performance, limiting Century to just two runs.

With these back-to-back victories, Minot High improves to a record of 9-1 in the WDA and 16-3 overall. Century, on the other hand, falls to 1-7 in the conference and 3-11 overall. The Majettes will look to carry this momentum into their upcoming games, including a rematch against TMCHS (Belcourt) on Friday, May 3rd.
