Makocraft to Debut Exciting New Flagship Model at SCIBS

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Makocraft Boats, a renowned manufacturer of Australian alloy boats, has unveiled its latest flagship model, the 731 Island Cab. This new addition to the Island Cab HT range is set to revolutionize coastal fishing-friendly plate boats with its innovative design and enhanced features.

Positioned as the larger sibling in the Island Cab HT range, the 731 Island Cab will join its predecessors, including the Makocraft 591 Island Cab HT and the current flagship, the 631 Island Cab HT. Tim Stessl, the owner of Makocraft, revealed that the decision to introduce this new model was driven by the expressed desires of their loyal customer base.

“Our customers expressed a desire to venture further into the open waters, prompting the development of a larger vessel. The new 731 Island Cab HT boasts a robust 5.0mm bottom and comes standard with a checker plate floor, offering an array of premium features not found in the existing Island Cab HT models,” said Stessl.

The 731 Island Cab HT will feature a substantial 350-litre fuel tank, surpassing its predecessors by an impressive 100 litres, catering to the ambition of customers to explore distant horizons with extended range and endurance.

Makocraft will officially unveil the new model at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, running from May 23-26. Alongside the 731 Island Cab, Makocraft will also showcase several new models and perennial favorites, providing visitors with a comprehensive look at their range of offerings.

With long-term partner Dunbier Trailers joining their stand, visitors will have the opportunity to explore a complete boating solution or standalone re-trailer options. For more information on Makocraft and their latest models, visit www.makocraft.com.au.
