YouTube, the popular video-sharing platform, keeps track of all your activity history, including the comments you make on videos. If you want to manage your comment history on YouTube, here’s how you can do it.
To view and manage your YouTube comment history on desktop, simply open your browser and go to the YouTube website. Click on the hamburger menu button on the left side of the YouTube logo and select ‘History’ under the ‘You’ section. Then, click on the ‘Manage all History’ tab on the right, tap on ‘Comments’, and you will see a list of all the comments you have made on videos.
On mobile, the process is a bit more hidden. Open the YouTube app, tap on your profile picture at the bottom bar, and click on the ‘View all’ button next to the ‘History’ section. From there, tap on the three-dot menu on the top-right of the screen, select ‘Manage all history’, go to the ‘Interactions’ tab, and click on ‘Comments & Replies’ to view your comment history.
If you want to delete or edit a comment, the process is the same on both desktop and mobile. Simply press the ‘X’ icon to delete a comment, or click on the three-dot menu next to the comment to edit it. Keep in mind that YouTube will show that the comment has been edited, but you won’t be able to view the edit history.
Managing your YouTube comment history is a useful way to keep track of your interactions on the platform. So, next time you want to review or modify your comments, follow these simple steps to access your comment history on YouTube.
