Nand Ghar, a project aimed at transforming anganwadis across India, has launched a national movement titled Agar Bachpan Se Poocha Khaana Khaaya, Toh Desh Ka Kal Banaya (If asked in childhood if you ate, then you built the future of the country) with the support of actor Manoj Bajpayee. The movement focuses on providing holistic healthcare, quality nutrition, and preschool education for children to nourish India’s future generation.
Chairman of Vedanta, Anil Agarwal, expressed his delight at Manoj Bajpayee joining the movement, emphasizing the importance of supporting the well-being of children and women through health and nutrition initiatives. Bajpayee, in a heartfelt moment, shared his personal journey as a struggling actor and highlighted the significance of regular nutritious meals in pursuing dreams.
Manoj Bajpayee, who has experienced hunger firsthand, stressed the crucial role of initiatives like Nand Ghar in providing proper nutrition and fostering hope for a brighter future. He urged people to support the movement by donating, volunteering, or partnering with Nand Ghar to nourish the potential of children and prepare for a brighter India.
The movement, conceptualized by McCann, aims to emphasize the importance of well-rounded nutrition for children to realize their true potential. Nand Ghar, the flagship project of Anil Agarwal Foundation, has made significant strides in reducing malnutrition levels and increasing preschoolers’ attendance across 14 states in India.
With the support of credible voices like Manoj Bajpayee and Prasoon Joshi, Nand Ghar invites citizens and organizations to join the #KhaanaKhaayaKya movement and contribute to the transformation of anganwadis and the future of the nation. Together, they are paving the way for a better tomorrow for India.
