Mansoor bin Mohammed inaugurates GISEC Global 2024 at Dubai World Trade Centre – Technology Event

His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Ports and Borders Security Council, inaugurated the highly anticipated GISEC Global 2024 event at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This event, known as the largest cyber security event in the Middle East and Africa, has attracted over 20,000 cyber professionals from more than 130 countries.

With more than 750 exhibiting brands, a 50 percent increase from the previous year, GISEC Global is set to address the growing digital threats in the Gulf Cooperation Council cybersecurity market. Analysts predict that this market will triple in value by 2030, reaching $13.4 billion.

The event features industry giants such as Huawei, Honeywell, du, Microsoft, and Google Cloud Security, as well as innovative cybersecurity companies like Spire Solutions, Pentera, Cloudflare, and Kaspersky. Over 350 expert speakers and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) are set to deliver 300-plus hours of immersive content under the theme of ‘AI-driven cyber-resilience’.

Dr. Mohamed Al-Kuwaiti, Head of the UAE Cybersecurity Council, highlighted the importance of collaboration in developing a cyber-resilient society in the face of evolving cyber threats. The event aims to bridge the gap in the industry, encourage discussions, and promote collaborations critical to the future of digital services and assets.

GISEC Global 2024 will also feature exclusive cybersecurity experiences, including the Global CyberDrill simulation and the GISEC Cyber Excellence Awards.
