Maria Bakalova to star in Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley’s upcoming film ‘Mayday’

Apple and Skydance have announced four new cast members for the upcoming action-adventure film ‘Mayday’. The star-studded cast includes Maria Bakalova, Marcin Dorocinski, Lovell Adams-Gray, and Clark Johnson. The film, directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, also features Ryan Reynolds and Kenneth Branagh in lead roles.

The plot of ‘Mayday’ remains a mystery as details are being kept under wraps. The movie is a result of a collaboration between Apple and Skydance Media, with production handled by Skydance’s David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger, along with Reynolds and others from Maximum Effort. Goldstein and Daley are also on board as producers.

Maria Bakalova, known for her Academy Award-nominated performance in ‘Borat Subsequent Moviefilm’, is set to appear in Jerry Seinfeld’s ‘Unfrosted’ and ‘The Apprentice’. Marcin Dorocinski, whose credits include ‘The Queen’s Gambit’ and ‘Mission: Impossible’, will also star in the film.

Lovell Adams-Gray, recognized for his role in ‘Power Book II: Ghost’, has upcoming projects like ‘Morningside’. Clark Johnson, known for his work on ‘The Wire’ and ‘Bosch’, will also be part of the star-studded cast.
