Mason Marchment and Radek Faksa listed as day-to-day with injuries before Game 3 against Vegas

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Dallas Stars are facing some uncertainties as they head into Game 3 of their first-round series against the Vegas Golden Knights. Forwards Mason Marchment and Radek Faksa both left Game 2 with injuries and did not return for practice the following day. Coach Pete DeBoer labeled them as day-to-day with unspecified injuries, leaving their availability for Saturday night’s game in question.

Tyler Seguin also missed practice, but it was a scheduled off day for him. The team mixed up their lines in practice due to the absences, but DeBoer emphasized that the new combinations may not reflect the lineup for the upcoming game.

Marchment had a standout season with 22 goals and 31 assists, while Faksa contributed 19 points in 74 games. Both players were key physical presences on the ice, with Marchment tying for a team-high in hits in Game 1.

The Stars will need to adjust their game plan if Marchment and Faksa are unable to play in Game 3, as their physicality and offensive contributions will be missed. Fans will have to wait until game time to see who will be in the lineup as the Stars look to even the series against the Golden Knights. Stay tuned for updates on the players’ statuses as more information becomes available.
