In a thrilling softball matchup, Meadowdale emerged victorious over Marysville Getchell with a final score of 12-9. The game was filled with standout performances from Meadowdale’s players, including Mia Cantu who went 4 for 4 with a walk, 2 home runs, 3 runs, and 3 RBIs. Jaeden Sajec also had a strong showing, going 3 for 5 with a double, a run, and 2 RBIs.

On the pitching side, Jaeden Sajec pitched 3 innings, allowing 4 runs (2 earned) on 3 hits with 2 walks and a strikeout. Olivia Feistel pitched 4 innings, giving up 5 earned runs on 6 hits with no walks and 3 strikeouts.

With this win, Meadowdale improved their record to 9-4 in the league and 11-7 overall, while Marysville Getchell fell to 5-7 in the league and 7-9 overall.

In another softball game, Mountlake Terrace narrowly defeated Shorewood with a score of 3-2. Ellie Gilbert led the way for Mountlake Terrace both at the plate, going 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs, and on the mound, pitching 5 innings and striking out 10 batters.

The victory improved Mountlake Terrace’s record to 6-7 in the league and 6-12 overall, while Shorewood’s record now stands at 6-7 in the league and 10-9 overall.
