Mayank Yadav’s health condition: Unlikely to play due to swelling on hips

Lucknow SuperGiants’ star pacer Mayank Yadav will be missing the upcoming match against Delhi Capitals due to a major hip injury, confirmed head coach Justin Langer. The injury, which has caused severe swelling in his hip, will likely sideline him for the next two matches as well.

Langer revealed that Yadav had felt some tightness in his hip before the last game, but it was only a minor discomfort at that time. However, during the match against Gujarat Titans, Yadav bowled the first over and started experiencing significant pain in his hip, forcing him to leave the field.

The coach also mentioned that Yadav is expected to return for the match against Chennai Super Kings on April 19. The young pacer had made headlines with his exceptional performance in the initial matches of the season, clocking speeds of up to 155 KMPH and winning back-to-back Player of the Match awards.

Hip swelling, as explained by medical experts, can be caused by various factors such as injury, inflammation, infection, or underlying medical conditions.
