Taylor McKinney, a former Webster City High School and Iowa Central graduate, is embarking on a new business venture with the launch of “T-Money Elite Basketball Training.” Inspired by her own experiences spending countless hours in the gym growing up, McKinney aims to help youth players improve their skills and develop a passion for the game.

With plans for two camps catering to different age groups, McKinney’s focus is on providing comprehensive training that goes beyond just shooting. The first camp will introduce kids to all aspects of the game, while the second will hone in on offensive skills. Drawing from her own success as a Lynx standout, McKinney emphasizes the importance of hard work and dedication in improving as a player.

Supported by her father, former WCHS boys basketball coach Marty McKinney, and current Webster City activities director Jess Howard, McKinney is excited to offer individual and small group workouts in addition to the camps. She credits her mentors for helping her set up this new opportunity and invites interested individuals to follow the Facebook page “T-Money’s Elite Basketball Training” for more information.

McKinney’s dedication to growing the game in her community and providing young players with the tools to succeed is evident in her commitment to this new venture. With her wealth of experience and passion for the sport, McKinney is poised to make a significant impact on the next generation of basketball players.
