Meghan Trainor, the popular singer, recently shared a heart-wrenching story about a pregnancy scare she experienced with her second child, Barry. During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Mythical Kitchen’s Last Meals, Meghan revealed that she was overjoyed about her pregnancy until she experienced a sudden gush of blood right before an interview.
The 30-year-old singer shared, “That morning I was stoked, beaming with joy, I videotaped it. I did interviews and they were like, ‘How are you?’ and I said, ‘I’m thriving.’ I was so happy…And then, right before my last interview, I look down and I’m gushing blood…Oh no,’ and they’re like ‘Okay, Ryan Seacrest is on. Go!’”
Meghan, who shares Barry with her husband Daryl Sabra, also has another son named Riley. The unexpected bleeding led Meghan to fear a miscarriage, but she later found out that she was still pregnant. A blood test revealed that she was carrying a 10-week-old baby, despite the scare she had experienced.
The singer’s story sheds light on the common phenomenon of implantation bleeding, which can occur around the time of a menstrual period when the fertilized egg attaches to the lining of the uterus.
In other news, Meghan Trainor has also released a new album titled Timeless, featuring 16 songs and collaborations with artists like Lawrence, Niecy Nash, and T-Pain. Despite the scare she faced, Meghan continues to thrive in her career and motherhood journey.
