Men’s lacrosse team receives four All-America honors, marking the first time since 2015

Four University of Lynchburg men’s lacrosse players have been recognized for their outstanding performances this season, with Dylan Wolfe, Tyler Hadley, Jake Rust, and Dom Zingo earning United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America honors. Additionally, Riley Mitchell, Riley Hastings, and Henri Marindin received honorable mention accolades.

Wolfe, a midfielder, had a standout season, scoring 69 points in 21 games, including 43 goals and 26 assists. Hadley, the team’s defensive standout, earned his first All-America award after being named the ODAC player of the year. Rust, a midfielder, secured his second consecutive All-America honor after leading the team with 49 goals. Zingo, a senior, rounded out the third team with his stellar defensive play, causing 23 turnovers throughout the season.

Hastings led the team in assists and points as a sophomore, while Mitchell contributed 16 goals and 16 assists in his Lynchburg career. Marindin played a crucial role in the team’s defense, causing 16 turnovers and helping shut down opponents’ leading scorers.

The Lynchburg men’s lacrosse team had a successful season, making it to the NCAA Tournament for the 12th consecutive year and winning the ODAC title for the third time in four seasons. With 33 all-time All-Americans in program history, Lynchburg’s men’s lacrosse team has helped the athletic department surpass 300 All-Americans across all sports.
