The match, held at the Doug Davis Tennis Center in St. Louis, was a back-and-forth affair that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
The Jumbos, who finished the season with an impressive 18-7 record, put up a strong fight against CMS. The doubles matches were particularly intense, with all three going to tiebreaks. Despite a valiant effort from Tufts, CMS managed to secure the crucial doubles point, taking a 2-1 lead heading into singles play.
