Men’s Tennis Team Dominates No. 17 Texas A&M, Advances to NCAA Elite Eight

The Texas Men’s Tennis team continues to dominate as they secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament Elite Eight with a commanding 4-0 victory over Texas A&M. The Longhorns, ranked No. 3, showed their strength and determination as they swept their opponents to advance to the Quarterfinals for the fourth time in the last five years.

Head coach Bruce Berque praised his team’s performance, especially the seniors who played their last match at the Texas Tennis Center in front of a packed house. The Longhorns took the doubles point with wins at No. 1 and No. 3, setting the stage for their singles matches.

Seniors Cleeve Harper and Micah Braswell, along with freshman Gilles-Arnaud Bailly, clinched the victory with impressive wins in their respective singles matches.
