Miami graduate programs recognized by U.S. News & World Report

Miami University has once again made its mark in the academic world, as U.S. News & World Report recently released its 2024 Best Graduate Schools rankings, highlighting several programs at the prestigious institution.

Among the programs recognized were Miami’s Best Education Schools, Best Part-time MBA Programs, and Speech Language Pathology department. These rankings cover a wide range of disciplines, including business, education, engineering, law, medicine, and nursing.

The rankings are based on a combination of expert opinions on program excellence and statistical indicators measuring faculty quality, research output, and student success. Data was collected from over 2,200 programs and reputation surveys were sent to thousands of academics and professionals.

Amity Noltemeyer, interim dean of the College of Education, Health, and Society, expressed her pride in the recognition of Miami’s graduate education programs. She highlighted the university’s commitment to providing a rigorous curriculum, dedicated faculty, impactful research, and experiential learning opportunities for students.

Additionally, the Speech Language Pathology program at Miami was ranked No. 52 overall, showcasing the department’s excellence in the field. Susan Brehm, associate dean of the College of Arts and Science, noted the recent move of the department to a new facility, providing students with enhanced clinical experiences and cutting-edge learning environments.
