Michael Cohen is pitching a reality show called ‘The Fixer’

Reading Time: < 1 minute

Former Trump fixer Michael Cohen is making headlines once again, this time for his latest venture into reality TV. Cohen, who was sentenced to three years in prison in 2018 for tax evasion and violating campaign-finance laws, is now pitching a show called “The Fixer,” where he promises to use his skills to help ordinary people in trouble.

In an exclusive promo video obtained by The Post, Cohen is seen strutting the streets of Manhattan in a dramatic fashion reminiscent of his former boss’s show, “The Apprentice.” Clad in dark suits and surrounded by stock footage of cable-news reports on his scandals, Cohen vows to use his “dark arts” to fix problems for the “little guy.”

The concept for “The Fixer” is said to involve Cohen being placed in problematic business scenarios that need fixing, drawing on his experience as Trump’s no-holds-barred attorney. In the promo, Cohen speaks of his journey of redemption and his desire to help others with the tools he has learned.

Critics, including former Stormy Daniels attorney Michael Avenatti, have been quick to criticize Cohen’s new venture. Avenatti called the idea of the show “spectacularly stupid,” questioning Cohen’s ability to fix anything given his track record.

Despite the criticism, Cohen is moving forward with his show concept, working with media producer Colin Whelan to bring “The Fixer” to life. As Cohen prepares to testify in Trump’s hush-money trial in Manhattan, his foray into reality TV is sure to generate even more attention and controversy.
