Michael Mosley continues search for missing TV presenter on fourth day

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The search for missing TV presenter Michael Mosley is set to enter its fourth day as rescue teams continue to scour the Greek island of Symi for any sign of the 67-year-old. Mosley, known for his TV programmes and podcast on BBC Radio 4, disappeared on Wednesday while on holiday.

CCTV footage shows Mosley leaving Agios Nikolaos beach on foot and later appearing in the nearby village of Pedi. Despite extensive search efforts involving divers, helicopters, and drones, Mosley has yet to be located.

Officials are now ruling out the possibility of foul play, focusing instead on the challenging terrain between the beach and the village where Mosley was last seen. A member of the rescue team described the search as a “race against time,” emphasizing the difficulty of navigating the area.

Mosley’s family, including his wife and four children, have joined the search on Symi, expressing shock and confusion over his disappearance. Local residents on the small island are also baffled by the situation, with one resident questioning how a man could go missing in such a small community.

Before his career in television, Mosley studied medicine and worked as a doctor. He has since become a well-known presenter, journalist, and author, advocating for intermittent fasting diets. Colleagues and friends have expressed concern and hope for his safe return, with fellow TV personalities sending thoughts and prayers to Mosley’s family during this difficult time.
