Mighty Mussels to Host ‘Margaritaville Night’ on May 11: A Night of Fun, Food, and Baseball | News, Sports, Jobs

The Fort Myers Mighty Mussels are bringing a taste of the tropics to Hammond Stadium with their upcoming Margaritaville Night event. On Saturday, May 11, fans can enjoy a night of cocktails, music, and baseball as they watch the Mighty Mussels take on the Dunedin Blue Jays.

The event will feature special culinary offerings at the concession stands, including a Cheeseburger in Paradise, Key Lime Pie, and Fish and Chip combos. Fans 21 and older can indulge in Mussel Up Margarita Buckets and Landshark Lager by Margaritaville Brewing Co. giveaway items provided by Suncoast Beverage. The night will culminate with a free postgame concert from the Trop Rock Junkies, a band that channels the music of Jimmy Buffet and other tropical-themed artists.

Mighty Mussels President Chris Peters expressed excitement for the event, stating, “Margaritaville Night offers a great opportunity to just kick back, relax, and enjoy a cold drink while watching a baseball game.”
