Boxing legend Mike Tyson has assured fans that he is feeling “100 per cent” after a mid-flight medical emergency left him feeling nauseous and dizzy. The 57-year-old was on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles when he experienced an ulcer flare up just 30 minutes before landing.

Despite the scare, Tyson’s representative confirmed that the fighter is now in good health and ready to take on 27-year-old YouTuber Jake Paul in their upcoming bout. Tyson boldly declared, “Now feeling 100 per cent even though I don’t need to be to beat Jake Paul.”

The spokesperson also clarified that the delay in take-off was not due to Tyson’s medical emergency, but rather an air conditioning issue on the aircraft. Tyson retired from boxing in 2005 but is making a highly anticipated return to the ring in July for the fight against Jake Paul.

The clash between Tyson and Paul has stirred controversy due to their age difference, but both fighters are determined to put on a show for fans. The fight is scheduled to be broadcast live on Netflix from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on July 20.

Jake Paul has been vocal about his excitement for the match, calling it “quite literally the biggest fight of the 21st century.” Meanwhile, Tyson expressed his eagerness to shake up the sports world once again, stating, “It’s just something I want to do. No one else can shut the sporting world down like I can.”

With both fighters eager to prove themselves in the ring, the Tyson vs. Paul showdown promises to be a must-watch event for boxing fans around the world.
