Minot High Girls Tennis Dominates Minot Round Robin Invite

Minot High girls tennis team showcased their skills and dominance at the Minot Round Robin Invite over the weekend. The tournament saw teams from Bismarck High, Bismarck Legacy, Bismarck Century, Bismarck St Mary’s, Mandan, Dickinson, and Minot North competing against each other.

The hosting Majettes put on an impressive performance, securing three top finishes and two third-place spots. In the No. 1 singles category, Minot High’s Sidney Ressler displayed her talent by winning the first set against Legacy’s Aleah McPherson. Although she lost the next two sets, Ressler managed to secure a third-place finish at the invite.

Kylie Fettig from Minot High claimed the top spot in the No. 2 singles category with some impressive wins in the championship bracket. Ava Thuner also shined for the Majettes in the No. 3 singles category, securing a first-place finish.

The doubles categories were equally competitive, with Valeria Bradley and Shayna Klitzke from Dickinson taking the top spot in the No. 1 doubles category. Lila Olson and Reese Goodman from Minot High emerged victorious in the No. 2 doubles category.

The Majettes’ outstanding performance at the Minot Round Robin Invite sets the stage for an exciting season ahead. Fans can catch the action as Minot High takes on their cross-town rivals, the Minot North Sentinels, at Hammond Park, weather permitting.
