Mish Wright wins the 2024 Fuel Women’s Fitness of the Year award

Mish Wright has been named the 2024 Fuel Woman of the Year at the Fuel Women’s Fitness Business Summit, held in Sydney on May 3rd. The theme of this year’s summit was ‘Make Way,’ celebrating women who are reshaping the fitness industry with passion, innovation, and fearlessness.

Wright, the Head of Education at Women’s Fitness Education, was recognized for her role in shaping how fitness professionals approach women’s health from the start of their training. With over 30 online courses, she has established Mish Wright Education and Consulting to help others and organizations enhance their educational and training programs, with a focus on women’s health.

Describing her superpower as an educator, Wright simplifies complex health and wellness concepts into practical, actionable steps for professionals and their clients. She also mentors others on how to do the same, ensuring that learning is engaging and relevant.

In 2021, Wright was awarded National Fitness Educator of the Year by Fitness Australia (now AUSactive) and Council on the Ageing (COTA) Victoria Team Leader Online Education. This recognition highlighted her commitment to education, particularly with older Victorians.

Wright’s dedication to education extends beyond her role as an educator. She was also the organizer of the Women’s Health and Fitness Summit in 2016, showcasing her leadership and influence in the fitness industry.

The Fuel Woman of the Year award celebrates women who break barriers, carve their own paths, and lead with both their heads and hearts. Mish Wright exemplifies these qualities, making her a deserving recipient of this prestigious accolade.
