Los Angeles Dodgers’ star outfielder Mookie Betts has added another accolade to his impressive resume, as he has been nominated for a Sports Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Personality/Emerging On-Air Talent. Betts earned this nomination through his work on a podcast with Bleacher Report and as a correspondent for Fox Sports during the 2023 MLB postseason.
Competing against Betts for the award are Noah Eagle, Taylor Rooks, and Jay Wright. The winner will be announced during the 45th Annual Sports Emmy Awards ceremony on May 21 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall in New York City.
Betts, a seven-time All-Star, has shown a keen interest in media and content creation. He is an executive producer under his company One Marketing Group (OMG), where he works on developing film, TV, and podcast projects.
