In a thrilling overtime showdown on Sunday, the Moose Jaw Warriors managed to stay alive in the WHL’s Eastern Conference Final with a 4-3 victory over the Saskatoon Blades in Game 6. The game-winning goal came just under three minutes into overtime, courtesy of a sharp-angle shot by Lynden Lakovic.

This victory marked the third game-winning comeback for the Warriors in the series, as they rallied from a 3-2 deficit in the third period to force a Game 7. Rilen Kovacevic scored the tying goal in regulation, setting the stage for Lakovic’s heroics in overtime.
