MTS-Nakamura wrestling emerged victorious at the Hawaii USA Wrestling Championship held at the Lahaina Civic Center, showcasing their dominance in the sport. The event, which marked the first sporting competition at the Civic Center since the Maui wildfire, drew 451 wrestlers from 19 clubs across Maui, Oahu, Molokai, Kauai, and even included participants from Washington.

MTS-Nakamura wrestling secured the top spot with an impressive score of 1,049.5 points and produced 24 champions, highlighting their exceptional performance on the mat. Following closely behind was another Wailuku club, 808 Wrestling Maui, with 807.5 points and 27 winners, making it a tight competition between the two clubs.
