Rafael Nadal Reflects on Positive Week in Madrid, Looks Ahead to Rome and Roland-Garros

After a successful week at the Madrid Open, Rafael Nadal is feeling positive and looking forward to his next challenges on the ATP Tour. The Spanish tennis star, who addressed the crowd at the Caja Magica after a video montage of his triumphs was played, expressed his satisfaction with his performance.

Nadal, who played four matches in Madrid, including some tough ones, acknowledged that his body was feeling the effects of the matches but held up well. He leaves Madrid with positive energy and is now setting his sights on the Rome Masters, which begins on May 10.

The 37-year-old Nadal, who has battled injuries in recent years, is determined to continue competing at the highest level. He expressed his desire to play well in Rome, a tournament he has won 10 times in his career.

However, Nadal’s participation at Roland-Garros later this month remains doubtful. He has stated that he will only compete at the French Open if he feels he can be competitive and achieve his goals. Playing best-of-five-set matches will be a challenge for Nadal, who will assess his condition after playing in Rome.

Despite the uncertainties surrounding his participation in upcoming tournaments, Nadal remains focused on his personal goals and is determined to continue his career. With the Olympics also on his agenda, Nadal is eager to see what the future holds for him in the world of tennis.
