In a stunning display of sustainability and fashion, supermodel Naomi Campbell turned heads at the Cannes premiere of ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ by wearing a dress from the Chanel fall 1996 couture show. The black sequin dress, originally part of Karl Lagerfeld’s 1997 fall/winter high fashion collection for Chanel, made a comeback on the red carpet more than two decades later, reported People.

Styled by Law Roach, Campbell, 53, put a modern twist on the iconic dress, showcasing a black sequined bodice with delicate strings of pearls draped over her shoulders. Unlike her ’90s look where she wore a slip under the sheer panels, Campbell opted to flaunt a black thong underneath the dress this time.

Her hair, which was slicked back during the runway show in the ’90s, was styled in loose, brushed-out curls for the Cannes event. Campbell accessorized with dramatic dangly earrings, adding grace to her ensemble.

Earlier in January, Campbell made waves at Paris Fashion Week by closing the Balmain men’s show in a luxurious outfit designed by creative director Olivier Rousteing. The ensemble featured black pants, a tan top with a plunging neckline, and an oversize camel-colored coat draped over her shoulders.
