Naperville-area high schools have once again proven their excellence, with all five high schools in the area making it to the top 50 across the state, according to the latest analysis from U.S. News & World Report.
Neuqua Valley High School led the pack, ranking at No. 15 in the state, maintaining its track record of being in the top 20 for the past five years. The school also secured a spot on the list of high schools excelling in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), coming in at 410th out of 500 schools.
Naperville North High School, Naperville Central, and Metea Valley were not far behind, with rankings of No. 25, No. 27, and No. 28 statewide, respectively. These schools also made it to the STEM list, showcasing their commitment to providing quality education in these crucial fields.
U.S. News evaluates schools based on factors such as college readiness, state assessment performance, graduation rate, and the performance of underserved students.
