Reading Time: < 1 minute

National Club Golfer, a prominent golf media brand, has made a significant announcement with the appointment of Hannah Holden as its new Head of Content. With five years of experience at NCG, Holden will now be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that targets club golfers across the UK through various digital platforms, social media, YouTube, and the print magazine.

Excited about her new role, Holden expressed her enthusiasm for the opportunities to drive the brand forward and engage with more core golfers in the coming years. She will also be joining the board at Sports Publications, the parent company of NCG, where she will collaborate closely with owner/managers Tom Irwin and Dan Murphy.

Irwin highlighted the importance of diversity in golf and acknowledged the increasing number of female golfers in the sport. He emphasized that golf is a game where men and women can play on an equal footing, and Holden’s appointment as the first female Head of Content at NCG in two decades is a significant milestone for the brand.

In addition to Holden’s appointment, Sports Publications has expanded its content and marketing teams with the addition of videographer Chris Vodden, social media expert Holly Rowntree, and the internal promotion of Paul Miller to lead on review content. These strategic moves aim to further enhance the company’s digital content strategy and strengthen its online media platform.
