Reading Time: < 1 minute

NBC has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season, and it looks like a mix of familiar favorites and exciting new additions. The network is sticking to its successful formula with shows like “The Voice,” the “Chicago” dramas, and “Law & Order” series maintaining their primetime slots.

However, the real excitement comes from the new shows joining the lineup. NBC will be introducing four comedies this fall, marking the first time since the pre-pandemic season of 2019-20. Among the newcomers are the mockumentary “St. Denis Medical” and the Reba McEntire-led “Happy’s Place,” which will bring some fresh humor to the schedule.

One of the most anticipated new series is the medical drama “Brilliant Minds,” starring Zachary Quinto as a neurologist leading a team of doctors exploring the human mind. Inspired by the work of physician and author Oliver Sacks, this show promises to offer a unique perspective on the medical genre.

In addition to the new comedies and dramas, NBC will also be premiering a 10-part nature series narrated by Tom Hanks, a crime drama called “The Hunting Party,” and a new competition series titled “Destination X.” The network will also celebrate the 50th anniversary of “Saturday Night Live” with a special three-hour primetime event.

With a mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions, NBC’s fall lineup is sure to keep viewers entertained and engaged. Stay tuned for more updates on these upcoming shows and events.
