Nelly Furtado wows fans with a stunning performance at NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert series. The 45-year-old singer delivered a career-spanning 20-minute set with a full band, showcasing her classic hits and newer songs. Sporting a white tank top that gave the appearance of a wet t-shirt revealing a black bra underneath, Nelly exuded cool and laidback vibes as she grooved along with her band.
During the performance, Nelly also paid tribute to her frequent collaborator Timbaland and shouted out her ex and longtime friend DJ Lil Jaz, who is part of her band. She even credited her daughter Nevis for creative directing the set. The singer’s daughter’s father, DJ Lil Jaz, was praised as an “incredible pioneer in the scratching world.”
The setlist included favorites like “Promiscuous” and a remix of Missy Elliot’s “Get Ur Freak On,” as well as her latest single “Love Bites.” Nelly closed out the performance with her classic hit “Maneater,” leaving fans in awe of her talent and stage presence.
