Reading Time: < 1 minute

Lindsays, a leading independent Scottish legal firm, has recently welcomed Doran Mitchell as its new Director in the Private Client team. With the firm’s focus on expanding its services for individuals and families, Doran’s expertise in areas such as Wills, Trusts, Executries, succession planning, and inheritance tax will be a valuable addition.

Having previously worked at Gillespie Macandrew as an Associate, Doran brings a wealth of experience to Lindsays. His appointment comes at a time when the firm’s Private Client team has grown significantly, now totaling 67 members, an increase of over 60% in the past year.

Grant Johnson, Partner and Head of Private Client at Lindsays, expressed his excitement about Doran joining the team, highlighting his reputation for building positive relationships with clients. Doran, who is also a Notary Public, shared his enthusiasm for starting at Lindsays, emphasizing the importance of providing quality legal advice in managing personal affairs.

The firm’s expansion in the Private Client sector follows its merger with the former Miller Hendry partnership, as well as organic growth in the area. With offices in Glasgow, Dundee, Perth, Crieff, and now Edinburgh, Lindsays is well-positioned to meet the increasing demand for legal services in personal matters.

As Doran settles into his new role, he looks forward to developing relationships with clients and serving as their trusted advisor. His alignment with Lindsays’ culture, expertise, and commitment to quality advice bodes well for the continued growth and success of the firm’s Private Client team.
