Adobe Lightroom users have something to celebrate as the popular photo editing software has introduced a new feature called “Generative Remove”. This feature, powered by the Firefly AI model, is now available across all platforms including the mobile app, web client, and desktop application of Lightroom.

According to Adobe, the Generative Remove tool is the most powerful remove tool in Lightroom yet, allowing users to easily remove unwanted objects from their photos. The feature intelligently matches the removed area with pixel-perfect generations for high-quality, realistic, and stunning results.

In addition to the Generative Remove feature, Adobe has also announced that the AI-powered Lens Blur tool in Lightroom is now generally available with all-new presets. This tool allows users to change the look of any photo with instant blur effects, powered by AI. Users can highlight subjects for focus and blur out the rest, with the ability to adjust the blur amount for complete creative control over the image visuals.

While Lightroom is available across various platforms, Adobe also offers a dedicated AI-powered app for smartphones called Express mobile. The app was recently updated with new AI features such as Text to Image, Text to Template, Generative Fill, and more. Similar to the Generative Remove feature in Lightroom, the Express app also includes a Generative Fill feature that allows users to remove unwanted objects from images and fill out the space with generative AI using text prompts.

Overall, these new features in Adobe Lightroom and Express mobile are sure to enhance the editing experience for both hobbyists and professional photographers, providing powerful tools for editing, managing, and sharing photos on the go.
