New Arcadia Studio of The Workshop Pilates Brings the Heat to the Valley

Reading Time: < 1 minute

The Workshop Pilates is set to open a new location in Arcadia, offering the Valley’s first-ever infrared heated mat Pilates class. This premier fitness studio already has locations in McCormick Ranch and North Scottsdale, providing Pilates sessions through group classes, private programs, and teacher training.

The new infrared-heated class at The Workshop Pilates Arcadia will provide a detoxifying 95-degree workout, gradually heating up the body to enhance flexibility and cardiovascular conditioning. Co-owner Ariel Schwartz expressed excitement about bringing this concept to the Valley, citing the numerous benefits of heated fitness such as boosted immunity, detoxification, pain relief, and reduced blood pressure.

In addition to the infrared heated mat Pilates class, The Workshop Arcadia will offer various types of Pilates for all levels, including Move, Circuit, Elevate, and Melt. The studio will be located in a historic building previously occupied by the Madison Improvement Club, which closed in 2023. The space will also feature an area for an esthetician practice and a juice bar.

The grand opening of The Workshop Pilates Arcadia is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, where visitors can tour the facility, enjoy local vendors and giveaways, and take advantage of opening day promotions. Co-owner Jackie Parks emphasized the transformative power of Pilates and looks forward to strengthening bodies and community bonds in the Arcadia neighborhood.
