New Avatar of Technology Showcased at Arab Media Forum through AI Activations

The 22nd edition of the Arab Media Forum (AMF) showcased the latest trends and technologies in media, with a special focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The forum featured a dedicated AI hub named AI Garden, set up by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office.

One of the highlights of the event was the digital avatars of renowned literary and media figures from the Arab world, engaging visitors in conversations inspired by their enduring legacies. Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai, expressed excitement about showcasing the potential of AI in media at the forum.

Organized by the Dubai Press Club under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the AMF continues to drive transformative change in the media industry. This year, the forum was held under the umbrella of the Arab Media Summit, which also included the Arab Youth Media Forum, the Arab Media Award, and the Arab Social Media Influencers Award.

Participants at the AMF had the opportunity to experience AI technology through various activations, including interactive installations featuring digital avatars of Arab literary and media figures, AI-powered photostudio, AI Sketch, and more. The forum aimed to highlight emerging industry trends and promote the integration of disruptive technologies into the regional media landscape.

With over 4,000 participants from around the world, including thought leaders, media personalities, editors-in-chief, influencers, scholars, and industry experts, the AMF 2024 provided a platform for sharing perspectives on the evolving media landscape in the region. The event showcased the transformative potential of AI in media and emphasized the importance of staying at the forefront of technological advancements in the industry.
