New Ayaneo Pocket S Android handheld now available on Indiegogo for $400 and up

Ayaneo, a tech company known for its innovative products, has announced that they are now accepting pre-orders for their latest creation, the Pocket S. This Android-based handheld device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 Gaming Platform, making it a powerful gaming device in a compact form.

The Pocket S resembles a high-end smartphone with integrated controls, similar to an advanced Nintendo Switch Lite. It features a stunning 6-inch 1440P IPS borderless screen with 400 nits of brightness, covering 100 percent of the sRBG color gamut. This display promises a visually immersive gaming experience with crisp details and vibrant colors.

Under the hood, the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chip boasts an eight-core processor and an Adreno A32 GPU. Users can configure the device with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x memory and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The Pocket S will come pre-installed with Android 13, offering a seamless user experience right out of the box.

Notable features of the Pocket S include Hall sensing joysticks with RGB lighting, linear Hall triggers, active air cooling, a 6,000mAh battery, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, dual noise-canceling microphones, and a fingerprint reader integrated into the power button. The device also supports storage expansion via a micro SD card slot and offers fast charging capabilities through its USB 3.2 Type-C port.

Interested consumers can pre-order the Pocket S on Indiegogo in black or white color options. The base model starts at $400 with 12 GB of memory and 128 GB of storage, while the top-tier model with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage is priced at $591. The estimated shipping dates are in June and May 2024, respectively, making the Pocket S a highly anticipated device for gamers and tech enthusiasts alike.
