Another Dayton-area Frisch’s permanently closes

The iconic Frisch’s Big Boy restaurant located at 1231 N. Fairfield Road in Beavercreek has announced its closure in April, leaving many loyal customers saddened by the news. The sign posted at the restaurant simply stated, “This restaurant is permanently closed. Please visit us at another Frisch’s Big Boy.”

This closure comes just a year after another Frisch’s Big Boy restaurant permanently shut its doors at 4830 S. Dixie Drive in Moraine, further impacting the local community.

Customers who frequented the Beavercreek location are encouraged to visit nearby Frisch’s Big Boy restaurants, including those located at 2861 Wilmington Pike and 6188 Wilmington Pike in Dayton, as well as 3110 Colonel Glenn Highway in Fairborn.

The closure of this beloved establishment has left many residents reminiscing about their favorite meals and memories shared at Frisch’s Big Boy. The news has sparked conversations about the changing landscape of the restaurant industry and the impact of closures on both customers and employees.

As the community adjusts to the loss of this longstanding eatery, many are hopeful that new opportunities and dining options will arise to fill the void left by Frisch’s Big Boy. Despite the closure, the legacy of this iconic restaurant will continue to live on in the hearts of those who cherished their time spent there.
