Intel, a global leader in technology, has made strategic appointments in its Sales, Marketing, and Communications Group (SMG) for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, as well as for India. Hans Chuang has been named as the General Manager of SMG APJ, while Santhosh Viswanathan has been appointed as the Vice President and Managing Director for India.
Hans Chuang, who holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA, will be leading Intel’s business in the APJ region from Taiwan. His responsibilities include driving revenue growth, creating new opportunities within the local ecosystem, and strengthening relationships with customers and partners.
On the other hand, Santhosh Viswanathan, with a background in Industrial Engineering and Management, along with an MBA, will be spearheading Intel’s operations in India. This move comes after Intel designated India as a distinct region within its SMG organization earlier this year, recognizing the country’s rapid growth and business potential.
The selection of Hans Chuang and Santhosh Viswanathan underscores Intel’s commitment to aligning its organizational structure with the evolving market dynamics. These appointments demonstrate Intel’s focus on customer-centric initiatives and leveraging the growth opportunities in the APJ and India regions.
With these new leaders at the helm, Intel is poised to drive innovation, foster strategic partnerships, and deliver cutting-edge technology solutions to its customers in the APJ and India markets.
