The Business Development Centre in Collingwood has just added two new valuable resources to its lineup, making it a one-stop-shop for all things business. The Georgian Bay Accelerator and the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce have recently moved into the centre’s Huronia Street location, joining forces with four other key organizations.

The centre, located at 105 Hurontario St., now houses the Town of Collingwood’s economic development department, South Georgian Bay Small Business Enterprise Centre, Community Futures South Georgian Bay, Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area (BIA), Georgian Bay Accelerator, and the Collingwood Chamber of Commerce.

Mayor Yvonne Hamlin expressed her excitement about having all these resources under one roof, emphasizing the advantage it provides to businesses in the community. The collaboration and innovation that take place within the centre create a supportive environment for both start-ups and established businesses looking to grow and succeed.

Each organization brings its own expertise to the table. The Collingwood Chamber of Commerce represents a wide range of local businesses and offers networking opportunities and advocacy. The Georgian Bay Accelerator focuses on advancing high-growth companies in the area, providing mentorship and customized programs for business success.

With a variety of resources available, from mentorship and financing to marketing and strategy, the Business Development Centre is a valuable asset for entrepreneurs in Collingwood. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to take your business to the next level, the centre offers the support and guidance needed for success.
