Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is set to make its debut in Northwest Indiana with the opening of its first location in the region. The popular burger chain, known for its elevated menu offerings, will be taking over the former Pita Pit location at 10611 Broadway in Crown Point.

Founded by the Simon family in Kansas, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers offers a wide range of delicious options, including steakburgers, fries, onion rings, cheese curds, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, frozen custard, milkshakes, and sundaes. With a menu that includes unique items like Jalapeno Pepper Jack Steak Burger and Salted Caramel Concrete with Twix and pretzels, Freddy’s has garnered a cult following of fans known as FredHeads.

The chain, which now boasts over 400 locations nationwide, is set to employ around 50 people at its new Crown Point location. According to spokeswoman Kim Huyhn, the Crown Point spot is scheduled to open in August, offering guests a taste of cooked-to-order steakburgers, hot dogs, fries, and other savory items, along with freshly churned frozen custard.

With its dedication to genuine hospitality and fast, friendly service, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is expected to resonate well with the Crown Point community. The opening of this new location marks an exciting expansion for the chain into Northwest Indiana, bringing its All-American meal experience to local residents and visitors alike.
