The eastern Idaho business scene is buzzing with excitement as a couple from Tennessee has taken over a local restaurant in Menan. Michael and Sandy King stumbled upon Teton House three and a half years ago and quickly became regular customers. Now, they are the proud owners of the restaurant, located at 3563 East Menan-Lorenzo Highway.

Since taking over in January 2023, the Kings have made some changes to the restaurant, including expanding the kitchen space and improving operational efficiency. These changes have led to a surge in business, with more guests being served than ever before.

One of the highlights of the menu is the new Wagyu steak, sourced from Australia, and a selection of 140 whiskeys, 52 tequilas, and 47 wines, including nine from Italy. The Kings have also introduced seasonal specials that showcase their culinary style and provide a creative twist for regular customers.

Michael, who previously worked as a chef in Tennessee, and Sandy are thrilled with their new venture and are committed to maintaining the historic charm of the 114-year-old building while providing a comfortable dining experience for guests. Their vision for Teton House is to “elevate your expectations,” promising customers a memorable dining experience.

With their dedication to quality and innovation, the Kings are just getting started on their journey as restaurant owners in eastern Idaho. Teton House is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday until 10 p.m.
