Bloom From Within, a new business in downtown Saginaw, is making waves with its offerings of acai bowls and fresh-pressed juices. Owned by Kelli and Nicole Johnson, the shop has received overwhelming support from the community since its opening on May 15 at the SVRC Marketplace.

The menu at Bloom From Within features build-your-own bowls with organic acai, steel-cut oatmeal or Greek vanilla yogurt, and a variety of add-ins like berries, banana, kiwi, and more. The Johnsons are thrilled with the response they have received from Saginaw residents, who have been showing their support in a big way.

In other local business news, Michigan Cream & Sugar Ice Cream Co. is back for the season at Uptown Bay City, offering unique flavors like 24-Carrot Magic and Penny’s Strawberry Cheesecake. The ice cream shop is also gearing up to open a second location in Old Town Saginaw.

Meanwhile, One Love Smoothie & Grilled Cheese has opened at the Midland Mall, serving up freshly-made smoothies and grilled cheese sandwiches. Owner Ryan Oliver is excited to bring healthy and delicious options to mall-goers.

And in Bridgeport Township, a new Starbucks has opened its doors at the former Big Boy location on Dixie Highway. The coffee chain is looking forward to becoming a part of the community and serving customers with exceptional service.

From new eateries to popular ice cream shops, the mid-Michigan business scene is buzzing with excitement and innovation. Stay tuned for more updates on the local business front.
