Sony Pictures has unveiled the much-anticipated trailer for ‘It Ends With Us,’ a romantic drama starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni. Based on Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel, the film has faced delays and setbacks but is finally set to hit the screens.
Originally scheduled for a February release, the film was halted due to the Writers Guild of America strike. After a postponement from June 21, the new premiere date is now August 9.
The trailer, set to Taylor Swift’s ‘My Tears Ricochet,’ follows the story of Lily Bloom (Blake Lively) as she navigates love, trauma, and resilience. A chance encounter with neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Justin Baldoni) sparks a passionate connection, but Lily’s past resurfaces with the return of her first love, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar).
Directed by Justin Baldoni and produced by Alex Saks, Jamey Heath, and Christy Hall, the film also features Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, and Amy Morton. Christy Hall, adapting Hoover’s novel, promises a captivating cinematic experience.
As the trailer teases heartache, passion, and the protagonist’s indomitable spirit, anticipation for the film’s release grows. ‘It Ends With Us’ is not just a romantic drama but a poignant exploration of love’s complexities and the resilience of the human spirit.
