News about the job opening for a Music Executive at LOCASH Label, in collaboration with the Sony Hall Booking Team

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Sony Hall, a cutting-edge concert venue in midtown Manhattan, has announced a new booking team that is set to shake up the live music scene. The team includes senior talent buyer Jack McFadden, talent buyer Alli Vega, and junior talent buyer Niko Murray. McFadden brings a wealth of experience from cities like Chicago, NYC, and Austin, where he booked early shows for indie rock legends like The National and Vampire Weekend. Vega, with a background in booking D.C. venues, joined the team at Bowery Presents before making the move to Sony Hall. Murray, a NYU alum, has already made a mark at the Cara Lewis Group and Sony Music.

Operated by Blue Note Entertainment Group, Sony Hall officially opened its doors in 2018 but has a rich history dating back to 1938 as the legendary Diamond Horseshoe nightclub. The venue, located inside the historic Paramount Hotel, seamlessly blends its original design and decor with the latest Sony technology.

BNEG president Steven Bensusan expressed his excitement about the new booking team, stating, “This is an exciting moment for Sony Hall and Blue Note Entertainment Group as we strengthen and bolster our booking program, further introducing this iconic New York City venue to the live music industry.”

In other industry news, Loeb & Loeb has welcomed Monika Tashman as a partner in the Entertainment department at their Nashville office. Tashman, previously with Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, brings expertise in representing music talent across various genres. Additionally, Galaxy Label Group has expanded its promotions team with the hiring of four new members, including Kerry Wolfe as vp of promotion and Cheryl Broz as head of national field promotion.

These recent developments in the music industry signal a dynamic shift in the live music landscape, with Sony Hall leading the way with its innovative booking team.
