Additionally, red alerts have been issued for Kottayam and Idukki districts for Sunday and Monday, with an orange alert in place for Pathanamthitta, Idukki, and Malappuram districts.
The Meteorological Department has forecasted the arrival of the monsoon in South East Bay of Bengal, South Andaman Sea, and Nicobar Islands by May 19th, with Kerala expected to experience monsoon conditions by May 31st.
The situation remains critical in the region, with authorities urging residents to stay informed and follow safety guidelines during this period of heightened alert. Stay tuned for further updates on the weather conditions in Kerala.
