The LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour have just announced an exciting new partnership with Nikon Inc, making Nikon’s COOLSHOT rangefinders the Official Rangefinders of both Tours. This collaboration promises to bring cutting-edge technology and sleek design to the forefront of professional women’s golf.

Nikon Rangefinders are known for their superior performance in various scenarios, offering precision, innovation, and durability to enhance decision-making during play. As part of the partnership, LPGA and LET players will receive Nikon Rangefinders for use during competition and practice, featuring a special ‘competition mode’ to comply with the Rules of Golf.

Naoki Onozato, President and CEO of Nikon Inc, expressed his excitement about supporting the talented athletes on both Tours and helping them elevate their game with Nikon’s optics and rangefinders. LPGA Chief Sales and Partnerships Officer Nicole Metzger also highlighted the benefits of the partnership, providing top-of-the-line equipment to enhance the performance and confidence of the athletes.

Fiona Harold, Commercial Director of the LET, emphasized the importance of aligning with partners who support their objectives, and Nikon’s investment in the Tour demonstrates their commitment to empowering elite female golfers worldwide. Rangefinders were first allowed in LPGA Tour competition at the 2021 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and now players can use this technology at most LPGA Tour and LET events.

Overall, this partnership between the LPGA Tour, Ladies European Tour, and Nikon Inc signifies a significant step forward in supporting female athletes in the world of golf, providing them with the tools they need to excel on the course.
