Nine companies welcomed to Seraphim’s newest space accelerator

Reading Time: < 1 minute

U.K.-based Seraphim Space is launching its 13th accelerator program, with nine innovative companies from around the world participating in the intense 12-week program. These companies are working on cutting-edge technologies ranging from propulsion to in-space manufacturing and space situational awareness.

The program is designed to help seed and Series A companies become “investment ready” by providing specialized mentorship, networking opportunities, and intensive workshops and pitch training sessions. Seraphim’s accelerator was the first of its kind dedicated to space tech in the U.K.

The diverse cohort includes companies from the U.K., the U.S., Italy, and India, working on a variety of space-related projects. From subsystems for launch vehicles and satellites to reusable port modules and space traffic management solutions, these companies are pushing the boundaries of space technology.

Since 2018, Seraphim has successfully accelerated 95 startups, with 85% of them raising investment within 12 months. Notable alumni include Xona Space Systems, Virtus Solis, and Orbital Composites, showcasing the success of the accelerator program.

In addition to the accelerator program, Seraphim has also launched a new venture fund, Seraphim Space Ventures II, focusing on seed and Series A investments. With the goal of building a global portfolio of 30 startups, the fund is backed by major limited partners in the space industry such as Airbus, Inmarsat, and SES. This initiative aims to further support and nurture the growth of innovative space tech startups.
