No. 39 Arizona Loses to No. 31 ASU in Tempe

In a thrilling match-up in Tempe, Arizona, the Arizona women’s tennis team faced off against their rivals, ASU, in a close 3-4 loss to close out their regular season. The Wildcats started strong, securing the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Reece Carter and Brandelyn Fulgenzi upset ASU’s Chelsea Fontenel and Patricija Spaka with a 6-2 victory, while Belen Nevenhoven and Martyna Ostrzygalo sealed the deal with a 6-4 win.

However, ASU fought back in the singles competition, earning the first three points on courts one, three, and four. Brandelyn Fulgenzi and Tanvi Narendran managed to secure points for Arizona, but it was not enough to overcome the Sun Devils.
